How Does AlcoBloc™ Work?

All AlcoBloc™ Kits include one portable Bluetooth breath tester, robust Bluetooth lock and minimum of One AlcoBloc™ Smartphone App download*. Administrator will have access to AlcoBloc Data Server, allowing user to customize their account, compose reports and other features, depending on the type of license level purchased. AlcoBloc™ utilizes only top-grade components that are easy to use and robust, allowing proprietors to block access to any device, vehicle, equipment, storage cabinet, etc. from someone under the influence of alcohol. AlcoBloc™ is a must have for anyone concerned about alcohol on their premises or at home.

How to Use:

1. Secure Property

Attach tamper proof security cable on vehicle, equipment, cabinet, etc. Make sure cable is taught and cannot be removed then secure with robust padlock provided in Kit.

2. Download the AlcoBloc™ App on the Smartphone or Tablet to be used.

Make sure that each person who needs access to the padlock has AlcoBloc™ download on their Smart Phone. Secure internet connection is highly recommended although the AlcoBloc™ app can work offline for limited time.

4. Wait for Test Outcome

Once test has been completed, If test is Negative the padlock will Open & Access Granted to the individual. If the test is Positive, meaning alcohol is present, padlock will remain Locked, No Access.

Once the breath test is generated, the AlcoBloc™ App immediately sends photo to pre-set Administrator with results of test, including date, time and location. Test results can be stored for future reference.

3. Take Breath Test to Gain Access

Prior to gaining access to object, subject blows into portable BT breath alcohol tester provided in Kit. Photo ID is immediately taken to confirm subject ID and avoid test manipulation. Valid breathalyzer test required in order to proceed. The AlcoBloc™ app is icon driven and very easy to use. The step-by-step process ensures repeated & proper testing.
